The London List: Sightseeing

Image
Hello Wonderful People!   I've now been living in London for nearly 7 months, which is totally crazy. The time has flown by and I haven't actually done as much sightseeing as I'd have like to. My weekends are usually taken up by seeing friends or chilling out with my housemates, rather than actually getting out and about in London. I have managed to see a few more sights, but my list is seriously lacking at the moment. Poor show on my behalf. I've been blaming my lack of exploring on the miserable winter weather, as traipsing round in the rain really isn't that much fun. However, the evenings are slowly getting lighter and spring is just round the corner, giving me no excuse to get up and explore the sights London has to offer.

The London List: Drinking

Image
Hello Wonderful People! It's time for yet another instalment of the Drinking List. The fact that I do these rather regularly has made me slightly worried about how much alcohol I consume on a weekly basis. This weeks post is a quite a long one and I've discovered a few new favourites. Plus there's a few cracking pictures involved. God bless Instagram.

Heidelberg: Planning my Trip

Image
Hallo Wunderbare Menschen!   One of my besties has just moved to Heidelberg in Germany and I'm super excited to go and visit her. As soon as her one way ticket and job were confirmed I booked my flights for a trip over the Easter bank holiday weekend. I love Germany, it's up there with my favourite European countries and I can't wait to explore a new area.

The London List: Eating

Image
Hello Wonderful People! Yet again I have been eating my way round some of London's many eateries. I've found a few good'uns and sadly, I've found a few that aren't so great. But hey, ho! You win some, you lose some.

Skiing in Les Gets

Image
Bonjour Gens Merveilleux   I'm not quite sure that I want to write this post, as I'm suffering from the worst holiday blues I think I've ever had. On Saturday I returned from the most awesome week skiing in Les Gets, France and it was possibly the best holiday I've had. Bar travelling, obvs. I haven't been skiing in 3 years, apart from one day in New Zealand, so I was very rusty. However, I was looking forward to a week in the snow, and the holiday completely smashed all expectations.
