For us, there is nothing more beautiful than Northern Europe. The Scandinavian countries are especially beautiful. The introvert people, their ideas about personal space and the cold weather, it all has a natural allure that no amount of history or architecture can replace. After all, nature is the best architect. Have you ever observed the intricacies of the mountains? Each one is a work of art. But, we are digressing from the point.

One of the greatest natural phenomena in the world is the Aurora Borealis, or the Northern Lights. They are beautiful, mesmerizing, colorful, and simply soul snatching in their beauty. If you cannot go beyond cities then Kiruna would be the place, but if you want some adventure Abisko is the place to be. Just take some really warm apparel from The North Face, otherwise, you will find firsthand what cold weather can do to you. Nevertheless, the season to go is September. There is a high chance that you will see the lights, but since it is nature we are talking about, you may return with only a glimpse.
