If there is a movie being made near to where you’re traveling, then you might consider working as an extra. This actually happens more than you might think, so it’s worth keeping an eye out for. A friend of mine was traveling around Australia a few years back, and she got extra work on the film Australia. It was well paid, and she got food for her troubles as well. If you are somewhere with a lot of snow that offers skiing, then you might like to think about working as an instructor. You can take a ski or snowboard instructor course to help get you qualified for this. Of course, it helps if you already have some interest in the sport beforehand. But this is a fun, active, and lucrative way of earning some extra cash on your travels.

When you go on vacation, you might decide to stay for longer than just a short break. Under these circumstances, you’re going to need to make sure you have money coming in.
