My Favourite Travel Pictures & the Stories Behind Them

Hello Wonderful People!

I love photographs. I love looking back at moments in my life that have been captured on film, permanently. Without them my whole life would have to rely on memory alone, and sadly memory fades. One of my biggest travelling regrets is that I never took enough photographs to help me remember all that I saw and did. I also love sharing my pictures with friends and family (partly to make them jealous, thanks Instagram) so I can briefly relive my travels and tell the tale behind each image. I've also made a scrap book of all my travelling adventures so I have a permanent souvenir of my trips. Here are a few of my all time favourite travelling pictures and a brief explanation behind them!

3 Places I Wouldn't Revisit (Sorry Not Sorry)

Hello Wonderful People! Ever heard of the phrase been there, done that, got the t-shirt ? Of course you have! Well, I feel this phrase sums up some of the less-interesting places I've been to. Don't get me wrong, I love visiting somewhere new and discovering all it has to offer, but sometimes, there aint that much there. And it aint that great. There aren't that many places I've been to on my travels that haven't inspired me to go back one day, but there are always exceptions to the rule. Well, 3 to be precise. I'll get an apology out of the way now.. I'm sorry if one of your all time favourite places is on this list! Travel is different for everyone and so many different things can influence you opinion and enjoyment of a place. Sadly, for me, these places just didn't float my boat. And while it's nice to say I've been (and got the proverbial t-shirt), I won't be going back in a hurry. Cuff me.

A Long Weekend in Copenhagen

Hello Wonderful People! I was lucky enough to spend the May Day bank holiday weekend in the lovely Copenhagen with some friends. We even managed to squeeze in a little day trip to Sweden, what more could you want? I've never been to Denmark before and several people had raved about Copenhagen, so my expectations were sky high. I had a few things in my mind of what I wanted to do, but other than that I was happy to explore the city and see what we could discover.
