Planning a City Break for my Mother

Image
Hello Wonderful People! My mama will be celebrating the big 5-0 in November (I'm sure she'll hate the fact I'm broadcasting this fact, sorry mum) and she's asked if I could research a European city break for her and her partner to go on. As I'm a complete travel addict, researching travel is like second nature and I'm always on the lookout for a great holiday deal. I really should have picked a career as a travel agent, so I'd actually get paid to do this!

My Skiing Holiday Wishlist

Hello Wonderful People! Summer is definitely my favourite time for travelling. However, there can be something magical about winter, even though it's cold. Plus, you can often get a cheaper holiday, as long as you avoid going at Christmas and New Year . I've been adventurous on my travels and indulged in skydiving and bungee jumping, so I do like a thrill. And winter is one of the best times to find one, especially if you enjoy skiing or snowboarding. There are lots of ski resorts all over Europe that offer not just sports, but spas, cosy lodges and sometimes great shopping too. I ski whenever I can, so naturally I have a list of places I want to visit. Here are the best countries in Europe for strapping on your skis. Jonathan Fox

Krakow

Witam Wspaniali Ludzie I've just got back from a crazy weekend in Poland, and I'm seriously suffering from the post-holiday blues. I've been to Krakow before, around 8 years ago, so was really looking forward to going back as I loved it the last time. We had lots planned for the weekend, mainly sight-seeing in the day and going out at night; the perfect city break combination.

Travel Plans for the Year Ahead

Image
Hello Wonderful People!   It's only the second day of January, but I already have lots of travel plans for the year ahead. I'm one of those people who always needs something to look forward to, to help motivate me through my weeks at work. And a good old holiday always does the trick. Despite it only being the start of January, I've already used up nearly half of my holiday allowance for the coming year. Whoops. But this does mean that I've got a lot to look forward to already in the coming months!
