Krakow

Witam Wspaniali Ludzie I've just got back from a crazy weekend in Poland, and I'm seriously suffering from the post-holiday blues. I've been to Krakow before, around 8 years ago, so was really looking forward to going back as I loved it the last time. We had lots planned for the weekend, mainly sight-seeing in the day and going out at night; the perfect city break combination.

The London List: Eating

Hello Wonderful People! So (if you hadn't already noticed) it's now January and everyone is trying to deal with the post-Christmas blues. It's a depressing time of year with a loooong way to go before summer arrives. So what better way to start the New Year (sod off Dry January and living in the gym) than to check out loads of new restaurants and gobble up lots of new food? The run up to Christmas is a very indulgent time of year and I paid a visit to lots of lovely new restaurants. I also discovered a few more that I'd like to go and visit, when I get the chance. So have a read and go and visit one of these, treat yourself.

2014: In Pictures

Hello Wonderful People!   Happy New Year! Last year was a pretty damn good year and I've taken a hell of a lot of photos to document the times I've had. So instead of them sitting unlooked at on my Facebook (apart from the stalkers, obv) I thought I'd dust them down and put my favourite ones on here! Be prepared.. there are quite a few, so sorry if I bore you, but I love a good old trip down memory lane!

Travel Plans for the Year Ahead

Image
Hello Wonderful People!   It's only the second day of January, but I already have lots of travel plans for the year ahead. I'm one of those people who always needs something to look forward to, to help motivate me through my weeks at work. And a good old holiday always does the trick. Despite it only being the start of January, I've already used up nearly half of my holiday allowance for the coming year. Whoops. But this does mean that I've got a lot to look forward to already in the coming months!

2014: The Highlights

Hello Wonderful People!   What a year. I can't quite believe that it's coming to an end; life really does get quicker as you get older. 2013 was a pretty awesome year and I thought it would be pretty impossible for 2014 to top it, but it may just have done. After an epic 4 month travelling adventure in 2013, I thought my long-trip travelling days were over. I was ready to get a real life job, settle into adult life and make do with weekend breaks and holidays to ease my travel cravings. Well, it's nearly December and I've somehow managed to visit 7 new countries and 2 new continents. Plus I've landed an awesome job and moved to London; something I've always wanted to do. Not too shabby. While this year has been up there with some of the best, there have also been a fair few rubbish moments that we won't dwell on. At the start of the year I was still living at home and decided that I wanted to do a spot more travelling before making the big move to Londo...

The London List: Eating

Image
Hello Wonderful People! Item number two one the London List is one of my favourite pastime: Eating. There are endless restaurants in London and I'm pretty sure if I ate out every evening it would take me a few years to get through all the restaurants in London. My housemates and I have decided to go to one new restaurant a month, in an attempt to explore some of the cool and quirky places London has to offer. So far I've discovered a few cool places to go for an evening meal, or a bite to eat at lunch time.. but I've got a looong way to go. Bring it on.

The London List: Drinking

Image
Hello Wonderful People! There are so many places to go for a drink in London, it's actually pretty ridiculous. On pretty much every corner there's a cute little old school pub, fancy cocktail bars line many streets and the amount of nightclubs is staggering. However, I'm more interested in finding the more unique, hidden bars that London has to offer.
