Hello Wonderful People! Cardiff was my university city and will always hold a special place in my heart. I absolutely love it! Call me biased, but I honestly believe you’d be hard pushed to find a better city to go to uni. Yes, I know everyone loves their uni city and think there’s nowhere better to go, but they’re wrong. And I’m right, obviously. Cardiff is a pretty small city, but it has everything you could possibly want in an easily accessible area. The Welsh capital has everything from castles, to beaches, to great bars and restaurants, plus the beautiful Welsh countryside is right on your doorstep; what more could you want?

Hola Gente Maravillosa! Lima was the last stop on my month long whistle stop tour of South America. I  hadn't  heard great things about the city, mainly that it was pretty unsafe and there wasn't a fat lot to do there. It’s safe to say that Lima isn't the nicest looking city in the world, and has an extremely run down feeling to it. We stayed in Mira Flores, one of the safest and nicest areas of the city as we didn't want to risk staying in any dodgy areas. One of our friends got mugged at gunpoint in Lima, so we were pretty wary about where to stay and where to go. However, our stay in Lima was completely trouble free and we found enough things to do to keep us entertained for a few days.

                                           Hola Gente Maravillosa! As we only had a short amount of time in Chile, before flying to Lima, we decided to get out of Santiago for a day in an attempt to see a bit more of the country. Valparaiso was our chosen destination as it was only an hour from Santiago, meaning we could get there and back in a day while also spending a good chunk of time in the city. Valparaiso is a beautiful little city, with a busy port, located on the coast of Chile. The city itself is really hilly and hundreds of mulit-coloured houses wind up, down and in between the hills; making for a very pretty view. As the city is full of steep hills, there are tens of funiculars dotted all over the place, so you don’t have to face a gruelling walk up hill in the heat. Hola Gente Maravillosa! After finally crossing the border through the Andes from Mendoza to Santiago, we only had a couple of days to explore Chile.  We arrived at the main bus terminal with no Chilean money, no battery on our phones and we hadn't booked a hostel either. I can be quite a disorganised traveller – but I’m never usually that bad! I blame the hectic bus journey for our distinct lack of organisation.

Hola Gente Maravillosa! I'm not going to lie, I'm by no means the most organised traveler in the world. While I'm pretty on the ball back at home, when on the road I always assume I have all the time in the world and everything will fall into place. So doing research into how I'd actually get from Argentina to Chile didn't even enter my head. I just assumed I'd hop on a bus and it would be super easy. How wrong I was.

Hola Gente Maravillosa! Mendoaz was the final stop on our Argentinian leg of the trip and I had a cracking time here! After city hopping for the past three weeks it was nice to get to a smaller place where we could actually get out into the countryside. Not only did we go on a few day trips we had some cracking nights out in Mendoza, one of which let me sample the sights of an Argentinian A&E. Whoops.

                                           Hola Gente Maravillosa! Buenos Aires is an amazing city, and there is so much to do here you 'll need a good few days to pack it all in! I stayed here for a week and just about managed to tick everything off my checklist. However, if you only have a few days in this crazy city, I 'v put together a list of my must dos, so you can make the most of your time there. Now, as a vegetarian, there is one obvious thing thing that does not feature on my list - steak. Argentina is famous for its meat, so that will definitely be something you 'll need to do if you 're a meat lover visiting BA. As I 'm no meat lover though, steak eating will not be featured in my top 5. But I 'm a fair gal, so I 've at least given it a mention in honour of fairness and all that jazz. Go me.
